I bought a new Dell laptop in December for my wife with every gadget...or so I thought. The free version of MS Word ran out today and my wife can't do her lesson plans or grad school assignments. Does anyone know of a good place to buy the latest copy or is there anyone in the TBH braintrust who might have a copy they could mail me? Not looking for a free item, just don't want to pay $140 like Dell told me I had to pay to make my MS Word work again. Any suggestions welcome. PM me if you can help.

Google docs. I will not buy MS Office again. Do it online with Google Docs.

With Google docs, do you have to be connected on the internet to edit/create a doc? How about to open and read one?
