    new trail cam questions?

hey guys I just got things going on a new lease in SE Kansas and am wanting to get a new trail cam to take up next week and hang so hopefully I can catch a few pics of the bucks before they drop their headgear... ive done some research and originally was thinking either smart scouter or moultrie's new addition that allows you to view pics online with AT&T subscription so I dont have to make the trips to pull pics. After some research I have learned that the smart scouter sucks (anyone else think differently?) and I have had moultries and HATE them. both of my moultries this yr were not getting the pics they should (I know they didnt get pics of deer I watched mill around for an hour in front of the cam... lol) plus their trigger speed is awful with a 60 second delay and when your trying to put it on a trail and catch a passing buck I doubt it will do the job. I am thinking on the little bushnell it has GREAT reviews and runs off of AA or AAA batteries which is WAY cheaper anyone have one? reviews? I would like a reconyx but they are too rich for my blood. any other suggestions would be great since i need to get one before I leave for KS next thursday.

also how do you propose handling the frigid temps in KS? I thought maybe making an insulated security box...? I dont want it to freeze up and I would like to get most battery life as possible so I can make the fewest trips as possible.

My dad has the I45 moultrie and it is a decent camera. He does not have the cellular hook up however. Night pics are not great but they work. So far, so good with this camera. He and I went through a bunch of the I40s before this one. He has only had it for about 4 months however. The battery life is not near as good as the I40 so we put a power panel on it.

I would buy a Bushnell trophy cam and put it out. It will be there with pictures on it still working the next time you go up even if it is 4 months later.
