How long after you take the class do you have to turn in all info to DPS

I don't think there is a time limit. As far as I know, the instructions say you need proof of taking the class (your signed certificate) and all your fees, passport pics and stuff, but I've never seen anything saying there was a time limit. I'd turn it in as soon as possible though, it took seven months to get mine after submitting to DPS.

You have up to a year to send in your paper work. That means a year from the date you completed and passed your chl class. If you let a year pass with out sending in your paper work than you have to start all over from the beginning and take the class again.
