Show off your 100yrd groups!

Well, the season is over and I figured I would hit the rifle range. What kinds of groups are you guys shooting? Anyone do competition shooting? I don't think I'm good enough for competition, but maybe one day.


I just put a new stock on my savage 10 308. I was pretty impressed with what I could squeeze out of the rifle. I am not sure the exact measurements but here are the pics from my cell phone.

Here's one of mine from my 300RUM Not bad for a factory Remington Model 700™ Sendero SF II rifle

I can find and 100yrd groups from my .308 only 300yrd and further

Nice group. I have shot several sub 1/2" groups with hand loads and a few under 1/4" with a best of .143" from my 308 Rem LTR. Still haven't figured out how to post pics from iPhone.

Wow! Now thats a group. With my factory setup and factory ammo I am thus far pleased with my groups. In fact I'm not quite sure how I will be able to shrink them.

being an ex-benchrest guy, I would suggest we post the pics of at least THREE - 5 shot groups to really show what your gun does.


I can post pics of bug hole groups of all my guns that are impressive but in all my years of shooting, I have only shot one screamer in the zero's. Notice the 5 shot group is really the same size as the one that killed the fly. The gun was capable of repeating this, but the "nut behind the butt" could not seem to read the flags to make it happen. Cannot tell you haw many 4 shots went into the same hole, only to make a figure 8 on number 5. It is maddening!!

I know lots of guys who carry around the laminated bug hole group in the wallet with factory ammo...however, they never want to bet money for smallest group??

Nice shoot-n Mike. I've got one around here some where like that from my stock '67 Winny-06 and facorty Federal Primiums with Nosler BTs 150s. Love pop-n the heads of turkeys with it at 100yds.

Nice shootin there, I know some guys that carry the lamintes in their wallets also......and they are not shy about showing them to anyone.
