    Has Anyone Tried Flexcin?

Friday I was at Peoples Pharmacy and they recommended Flexcin for joint pain. I'm thinking about getting a bottle for me and my old dog, he has arthritis and has to get a shot every month. It looks like it has a lot of good stuff in it and looks to be better than the Glucosamine stuff we're taking (The dog and I share a bottle ). Just wondering if anyone here has tried it and what the results were.

I started taking Flex-a-min about 2 weeks ago. I could tell the difference in 3 days!
I have chronic back issues, slipped 2 discs in my lower back several years ago, and knee pain from surgery last year.

I was in moderate pain EVERYDAY. There were lots of things I just couldnt do because I knew it would hurt too bad when I was done.
Walking a long way, weedeating, rake leaves, hauling feed would pretty much lay me up for 2 or 3 days after filling feeders.

Now I wake up with no pain every morning! This stuff is great!
I dont really push it, but I'm doing a lot more stuff than I was, and I'm not in pain.

My wife found it at wal mart, but I guess you could get it anywhere.

Rimadyl is also darn good stuff. No experience with Flexcin though.

I might give it a try. My right knee has been jacked up since high school, I used to get cortizone injections but those get very painful and costly. Right now I take the liquid glucosamine and I dont think I'm getting the bang for my buck. My last dog did well with Rymadil for his joints.

isnt Rimadyl pretty nasty stuff? I hate taking pain meds so I figured I would give the Glucosamine/cohndroitin/MSM combo a try, I think the MSM helps with inflammation.

Thats what the flex-a-min is, plus some vit D.

My wife got it at walmart in the pharmacy area, but you can probably find it at walgreens or wherever.

Rimadyl is an NSAID. Most closely related products would be aspirin or ibuprofen. It never got approved for human use in the US as far as I know. Around 1997 the vet clinic I was in was on a pilot program for pet use though. It was a great long term solution from observations back then. I haven't checked back up on it in a good long while though.
