Just returned from filming a mountain lion hunt in Nevada. This was one of the most physical hunts I have ever been on. Last month we packed an elk out in pieces, which was tough enough, but this had knee deep snow added into the equation. The dogs treed two females on the first day that we let go and struck this tom track the next morning. It only took about 15 minutes for them to have him in a tree and a couple of hours for us to get up to where they were. I was bringing up the rear pretty good with all of my equipment. Maybe I will forget by the next opportunity, but for now this is my first and last mountain lion hunt.
