Wednesday the 12 point

Well, I didn't kill him on a Wednesday, but Tuesday morning was good enough. I don't know how many hunts it took to kill this guy, but it was a lot. Final score was 151 0/8. Typical 12. Short beams, but good mass. Wider than I thought. Just over 20 outside, just under 20 inside.

Finy Young Buck

The Fine Young Buck met a 3 blade Rage at 15 yards. I hunted him 8 straight hunts from the Palace before he showed. I "quick" scored him with a metal tape at 150. With cable and glasses he'll probably go an inch or so more. 11 points. 16 inside.

Lucky 2

Here's some pics of Lucky 2. I killed him Nov 30 at 9:10 AM. Check out the slice the Rage 2 made. Went about 50 yards. I tried to make it 3 150's in one week, but my Junco buck didn't show until this morning and he didn't stay long enough for me to get a shot. Oh well, still a heck of a week. Scored 158 4/8.

The "Blondes" are planning on going out tonight for John's Birthday. I have not heard where we are going but I would imagine its gonna be either Seafood or Mexican Food.

Either Sweet Tea & Fried Catfish or Cold Pepsi and Cheese Enchilada's, it will be surreal celebrating John's birthday tonight without him at the end of the table. It would have been nice to call him this morning on my way to work and tell him "Happy Birthday" and razz him about being 1 year away from 60.
