You can get them at Wal-Mart. They're right next to the Deer View Mirrors and Gumoflage.

I fell for it and bought one and believe it or not, it does work, at least on the 2 deer i tried it on.

I thought it was just another gimmick until I saw one of the guys on my lease use one. It worked and it worked well.

I still don't see the point in one.....is it really neccisary to shove something in a deers anus??? I just don't see the benefit to the product. It seems like its just adding an extra step in the process

...just break the pevlic bone and when you pull the guts out from the windpipe>>>downwards everything just comes out. I do it like this guy (I use a wyoming saw or loppers on the pelvic bone):

J.B. I end up tearing the colon when I saw the pelvic bone. So I figured if I could pull the anus out I woulnt make that mistake?

The local WalMart store does not carry them. I had to order one from Bowhunters Supply. Have not used it yet but I hear they work well.

I was a skeptic until I saw it in use. And it doesn't add a step because when using this the pelvic bone doesn't have to be broken. I didn't go out and buy one and I won't, But it is an effective tool. as far as violating a deer goes you just killed it. Is there a bigger violation than that? LOL!

I've never cared for busting the pelvis and have always been a reamer anyway so I can see a use for this given that I cared to carry it around. Probably just something else for me to misplace.

I don't consider killing an animal a violation, it's a necesity.

Taking LDPs with a cigarette in it's mouth, sunglasses on it, or sticking a foreign object up its arse is, if not violating, just down right disrespectful.

But that's just my opinion.
