    Kisser buttons...

I noticed through some video that my form had gotten way off from when I was shooting 3D...I guess that happens when you spend countless hours in a blind instead of shooting! Anyway, wanted to know opinions on kisser buttons, does it help put you in the right spot if you haven't shot in a while? Why else do you use them? Any tips and tricks about them?

i don't use a kisser because of lack of practice or amount of hunting. I use it as an anchor point even if I'm shooting daily.

kisser simply is one more thing that makes sure i get the bow back where i want it. Tips?

    hmm

maybe put the cut that allows you to mount it on the opposite side of where your putting it in your mouth. I've found that if mine gets a little edge that it'll start cutting my lip.

    anchor it well

anchor the bow with closed eyes and have someone help you put it in the right spot. Estimations will make you adapt yourself to the bow vs the bow to you. I was putting one on my sons and he kept wanting to hold the bow crazy to get the kisser in the right spot. I finally had to have him anchor without the kisser, put a mark on the string and then put the kisser to have him start.

i use one. i dont shoot with a peep so it helps me be consistent with my anchor points. i have been doing it for a few years now and i wouldnt shoot any other way. all you need it a tritium pin and then you can hunt under the moon light too

if your forms off. take off your sight. stand 5 feet from a target close your eyes and learn your anchor points consistently. don't aim. just stand real close and nail anchor points over and over and over again. until they become second nature. then put your site back on and ge er done.

i use only a kisser button. no peep. i know my anchor points and use the level on my sight.

          consistency is king
