    Hey Guys:

I just bought a 3-d target and I was wondering what you guys do to remove the arrow from the target? Are there any tips or tricks?

make sure your leg isnt behind the arrow when you are pulling it out. a nock to the shin hurts....allot....

Before you shoot the arrow take a bar of soap and lightly coat the arrow at the point end about 10-12".

Rub about 6 to 8 inches of the shaft with a bar of soap and buy a arrow pulling grip.Try twisting the arrow clockwise just a little before pulling.

As Skeeter once told me........... Just put some man hands on the shaft and pull!

But really....... a little soap on the first 6-8 inches of your arrow will help alot.

Dip the first 3" - 4" of the arrow shaft into some wax, arrow removal is very easy. I made an applicator out of 3/4" PVC, caps on both ends. Cut a piece of sponge to fit inside, drilled a hole in sponge and filled tube with liquid car wax. I drilled a hole just slightly bigger than my arrow shaft to keep the stuff in the tube. Works great.

Bar soap. Or there is commercial arrow lube out there.

BTW, the pull and twist method is a good way to ruin a carbon arrow.
