    Mountaineer Bow ~ String Breakage

    For all of you old skoolers.....does anybody recall a problem that Mountaineer had with strings breaking?

    A friend of mine has one that he said has broken 2-3 strings. It is breaking at the cam.....inside the groove. I inspected the cam for burrs, but it seems ok.

    I have an idea about why its breaking, but I would rather wait to see if I got any responces.

    Hows the cam bushings Joey? If the cam is leaning when drawn,it can cut the string or buss cable on release.
