Any input on the Hoyt Alpha Max 32?

A friend has a brand new one rigged out that I can get dirt cheap. I shot it tonight. Doesn't feel too bad. It is not set up for me so I am keeping that in mind. It made a good grouping. I am an Elite man myself. But an old wise man told me once to never have just one girl friend that makes it boring.

Any input or field tests would be appreciated. I go with what shoots best for me then look at the label.

I like Bowtechs, but The AM 32 is a very good bow.
It will shoot the speeds advertised, and draw-lengths are very close.
      Strings could be better.

        I would recommend it.

GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! you wont regret it. last season i shot the BT admiral, diamond black ice, PSE xforce, mathews reezen, and mathews monster. and then i shot the AM.....was sold immediately but wanted to shoot all of them again. Aaron at Noched it loaded had me shoot each of the bows about half a dozen times. I absolutely love mine, even shot the 2010 models and liked mine better. you wont be disappointed

I've had one a year and a half. Smooth draw, good solid wall, fast ... not blazing ... but fast and almost dead in the hand at the release. Quiet, quiet, quiet. A GREAT hunting bow.

I love mine! I have a BAD habbit about buying a brand new bow every year and this is gonna be my first time to not buy a new one. I like it that much! I also shot the my biggest buck this year with it at 50 yards.

My experience was a lot like trjones87. When I went to buy a new bow, I went to Triple Edge completely open minded and shot the Hoyt Alphamax, Mathews Reezen, Mathews Monster, Mathews DXT, Elite Z28, Elite GT500, Bowtech Admiral, Diamond Iceman, and Diamond Black Ice. I shot the Alphamax first and then shot every other bow. I narrowed it down to either the Reezen or the Alphamax with the Alphamax being the strong favorite but wanted to give the second best another shot side by side. After shooting them both a few more times, it was completely obvious which one felt the best, shot the fastest, and grouped the tightest. I walked out of there that day with the Alphamax and have not regretted my decision. It's a great bow.

Had mine for a year & love it. I shot a ton last year & strings were shot by July. Bought some flightwire and it is even better than when new! Hoyt as gone to a 452x on the bows this year...set it up for you and change the strings...you won't be disappointed!
