Bought an old bow today at goodwill....

Well guys my uncle is always goin to auctions at goodwill. I went at noon to the goodwill on airport to attend one. Hes always telling me how the deals are so good. Well when the bow came up for auction the bid was at 20 dollars and it also came with a youth bow. I bid and won both for 20!!! I have been wanting a cheap bow to make a bowfishin rig with and finally got one cheap! The bow is in great shape and has no let off! Perfect! It is a golden eagle super hawk turbo. Is this a good deal??? Good bow to bowfish with??

Great find! If nothing else, you got a youth bow for the kid(s) to learn on as they get old enough.

Like we talked about on the phone, I would take it to the shop and see how low you can safely take the draw wieght. If you can get it down low enough, that will make a perfect bowfishing rig!

The bow can go all the way down to 45 lbs and up to 65. 45 lbs should be ok for bowfishin huh?
