    How large can Kinkos......

....make a Google Earth jpg file that I am already printing on a 11x14 legal with great detail?

Went into Paint as some suggest and marked the boundaries, blinds, water, camp etc and touched up the roads but would like it to be a little larger so i can laminate it for main camphouse viewing and for the couple of newbies we have coming in.

Anybody ever had a Google Earth image blown up by Kinkos? Prob looking at 16x20...if possible...

I would at least make the trip and see because I bet they can. I had a blueprint for a school project blown up to at least that size I believe...

A little tip is make sure its formated in PDF form, either that or you can paste it into powerpoint and then go to custom slide size and make your slide the same size as what you want then take it to them and tell them you want it printed that size. Whe you do that there is little to no distortion.

Get blueprints copied there about once a month and they can go larger than that if you prefer. Did the same thing last year, had a Google earth shot of the Lafyette WMA(spelled wrong) printed out at Kinko's and it turned out great.

Google Earth has the ability to add borders, markers etc. I have our land marked out using gps coordinates. You can also get a topo of the area and do an overlay. Also has the ability in Google earth to be able to click on the markers and show photos and/or video of the area marked. Then you can save the whole thing as a file and send it the other hunters.

Send me a PM if you need help with it

I highly recommend this site for aerial photos.

Quickly order USGS Topographic Maps, MGRS maps, 1:50000/1:25,000, Aerial Maps, Game Management Unit Maps for hunting, and maps for popular hiking trails. View our vast collection of historical USGS topos and national park maps. Order Delorme Gazetteers, Falcon Guidebooks. Call 877-587-9004 with any questions.

Very easy to use and adjust. I have ordered maps before for our lease and it was top notch.

                    Smart,

They can print them that big. The one thing that I might caution you about is enlarging a jpeg file. That is an image file and the more you enlarge it to manipulte it the more distorted and blurry it will become. You should be ok going from 11x14 to 16x20 though.

Don't waste your time. Do what getoutside mentions. I've had 2 done there and they're very nice. One was done for a southeast Texas property and one for a South Texas property. Both were 2008 images.

Am I correct in saying that you cannot do any editing to the map after going there and going through the process??
