    35" bows vs 32" bows

How much more forgiving is a 35 vs a 32?
I got rid of my 32 black ice for a 32 alpha max this season.

I feel that the 32 AM had a steeper string angle than the black ice did and I definitely need to pay more attention to shooting form vs the black ice.

Even though they were the same axle to axle length, it seems that way.
Maybe due to the cams? Maybe due to the AM being faster?

Anyway, I was thinking about getting a 35 instead since I read they are more forgiving.

    Any truth to that?

I like the AM32 but I don't feel that I have really come to terms with it.
Maybe I just need to shoot it more.

A majority of the longer bows will have a larger brace height to go with it. That is a huge part of how forgiving a bow is as well.

if its more forgiving it only that the longer ata allows you be be more alert of the bow being verticle at the shot , and you may not be able to tell it at all.. the string will not be at as much of an angle for some people that is important to others not so much.. i would open my search a bit more if your considering a new bow for a bit more forgivness,,, there are some awesom bows on the market right now, some short some long

When I shot the Maxxis 31 and 35, I liked the 35 better because of the string angle and my anchor pt. New bows always take some getting used to.

Some people may laugh at me but I've noticed that people with small framed faces tend to like the sharper string angle where as people with longer faces tend to favor the longer axle bows with the not so sharp angle. i personally shoot a bow with a 33-34" ATA the best, the angle of the string lines up perfectly with my facial features.

3" I'm gonna say not much. Stick both bows in your hand and fire a few arrows i don't think your gonna find that much difference between the two. you can read all the opinions in the world but until you get it in your hands you won't know what works best. there are so many other factors that go into stability - weight, cam design, limb weight, let off, draw peak, etc...
i shoot everything from a 41" to a 25" A2A bow. They all have a different personality of their own.

The 35" AM just felt much better to me over the 32"
