    black bow's vs camo bow's

Let me start by saying that I am a camo man! If something is made in camo I think that I need it. My home phone is camo, my crock pot is camo etc....
I have been seeing "blacked" out bow's more, and more poping up everywhere. I never thought I would like a black bow but man am I second guessing myself now. They are really good looking bow's! I wonder if this is just a fad? I don't see a purpose in them unless your hunting in a pop up blind with black interior. I would think that a deer would be more prone to see the movement of a black bow rather than a camo one, if you was in a tree stand? Maybe not but what is everyones thoughts of the subject?

My theory is if the deer is going to see you move a black bow he will see you move a camo one. They do look good though I think my next will be black.

I have a blacked out Elite GTO and I really like it.. I have never had a problem while hunting from a treestand or tripod with it.

Weren't the old Bear bows BLUE?
I wonder how folks killed deer with those!

IMO, it's personal preference. I don't have a black bow, but I have killed animals out of a pop-up with a camo bow as well as killed stuff from a tree with my fall camo Synergy that really doesn't blend with any of the foilage here in Texas. I think the way you move the bow is more important than the color of it.

Are the black bows more expensive than camo?

My Drenalin is Blacked out and I haven't seen any difference in the deers reaction. Had several deer less than 10 yards this past season, while I was 17' up a tree.

As, far as the price I dont know about other brands but my Blacked out Drenalin cost more than a regular camo Drenalin.

Thats crazy that they would cost more because you know they are cheaper to make. Going black they dont have to pay a copyright fee to the camo companies.

I am a camo man myself, but my next bow will be all black! But i hunt in ground blinds that are all black inside but you can't see the camo one from the outside either I think I just like the change. I think they look really nice, however I do not like black rifles(not just ARs) I prefer classic wood w\ blue or laminates and i have several all camo rifles. I own no black synthetic rifles, just don't like them for some reason.

Mathews has their own camo these days though.

Yes, but black is popular these days ... simple marketing strategy!

I fell for the blacked out look also and think that my am32 w/ black riser and camo limbs is the sickest looking bow ever!

Deer are going to spot movement regardless of the color.... That's why I enjoy bow-hunting, it's a lot harded to out smart something 25yds or less than shooting something 200yds away. When I bought my Alphamax I went back and forth between the Black and the Camo and ending up with the Camo.
