I just booked a Mt Lion hunt

I'm keyed up. I just booked a Mt Lion hunt. A friend and I are going to NM to hunt them. We wait here in DFW till we get the call that a good snow storm is coming in then make the 10hr drive. At that point we set up our bunksand cabin then when the snow hits, it's on.
If anyone has any thought for my prep or what I need to bring let me know.
Stories wouldn't hurt either.

I already planned on it but didn't want to mention it. That's kinda like looking back at the goal keeper and saying looks like you'll get a shutout there's only 30 seconds left, then I let a puck get by me and there goes the shutout.

We are hunting with a guide that is a good friend of the guy I'm going with. My buddy has hunted with him many times for pronghorn and mulies. They have a "call each other once every 2 weeks" kind of relationship. So we're good with him. That sucks about your buddy though, I'm always worried about that happening though.
