    String Trimmer Suggestions

I am in need of a good string trimmer and was wondering if anyone had experience with any they would or would not recommend. It would be used at least 3 times a week and i want one that will last several years.

Stihl. Have used them for years.

    Professionals use them...there's a reason.

Use my Echo about 30 times a week. Sthil good choice too. Both worth the extra cost over resedential models

The groundskeepers here at the university use Echo. They use them hard and often, and they hold up well.

When you say string trimmer I'm assuming you mean "weed-eater"!!

Stihl or Echo commercial line. Worth every penny!!

Look at the Stihl FS 110R and 130R you can buy an optional pole saw attachment which is awesome for trimming trails and shooting lanes! I have the FS130R and its a beast. Use it around the house with a couple acres and it pulls double duty during hunting season.

I have a mowing business. Echo and Stihl are both good ones. I use echos. Been using them for years. Defintly worth spending the extra cash for commercial. I would also stay away from curve shafts.Get a straight shaft.

I agree with the Stihl promoters.
