I was so mad that I spent the next three Saturdays sitting at the back of the parking lot for the scumbags to return to their dirty work. Long story short, I helped catch 4 would be thieves and escorted the po po right to them. I am sick of these freakin people!!!!!

That is awesome, you actually caught some bad guys in the act! Way to go!

All theives suck... There was nothing to steal in my truck. So they stole the truck! While I was home on a sunday afternoon! That day I was in disbelief. The next day I was driving all over enraged looking for that truck! Shoot em all...

Sadly, with the state of the economy, it will probably get worse before it gets better. I have been VERY luck to have never been hit, I'm sure my day is coming. I just try to be ultra paranoid when in public places, I don't trust anyone! When I park in a lot, I always look all around for anyone sitting in a car or just standing around and stare a hole in them before I go in. They look for people who are not paying attention, talking on a cell phone or daydreaming. Once inside, I notice every other person in the store and if they are looking at me. I have been known to go to the door just to check on my truck.

          Thieves

Thieves Disgust me to no end ! I am originally from a small rural town so it was never an issue . Maybe it is time we as Sportsman start a Group similar to The Minutemen and instead of watching the Border , We Watch the Big Sporting Goods Stores Parking Lots !

Just a report of the area, my buddy stayed at the Hilton by Bass Pro in Grapevine and had his truck broke into, they got his bow,460SW pistol,45/70 and a 7mag. He had just got back from a south texas hunt and had a meeting here, during the middle of the day and he was inside less than 3 hours.

What the hell is it with break-ins lately? In the last 6 months, my F-250 has been broken into twice and STOLEN once. (Recovered it the next day, minus all the electronics) Don't know if the economy has something to do with it or if I just have really bad luck.....

As an insurance agent for 27 years, I can tell you for sure that window decals are dead giveaways. Everthing from sports to sound system decals will entice a thief to your vehicle. Your car insurance won't pay for items that aren't permanently attached to your vehicle either. You've got to have a homeowners or tenent policy to cover those losses. I can't tell you how many times people didn't realize that and just thought they were covered under there auto policy......Sorry for your loss, been there myself.

Buddy's home owners policy is covering his loss, $7500 worth of stuff but he has a $1500 deductable.
