    Fletching hitting rest ?

My fletching was hitting my rest due to it not dropping. I got it fixed but the vanes on 3 of my arrows look "wrinkled" now. Will this mess up the way they fly? Thanks.

You mean to make them like new again?

Not sure what the case was with your rest but alot of people blame there rest when in fact it's there arrows. They are not stiff enough and they flex on there way out when released causing them to strike the rest....As of a way to fix them try heating..

It will have a slight effect, but to avoid wrinkling vanes, go to Blazers.

A lighter run back and forth under them will fix them.

Sometimes just putting them under a light will allow them to "fluff" back. If you do shoot them they will sing on the way to the target.

I was pre-locking the rest in the up position prior to shooting & I wasn't doing a full pull(I guess) to set the 'release' on the rest. my fault. Thanks.

None of these tricks worked. Looks like I will be getting some Blazers soon. thanks for the help anyways.
