I agree, she should get some video footage of this fella so yall know who to "look out for". I personally would be letting my wife drive to work and I'd be secretly following her. Then waiting in the parking lot for a bit to see what happens. Then the same routine when she gets off. For a good while. If this creep sees you in the truck he may work out other plans and that's not good.
I had a similar situation with my wife. She is a manager and has to do the hiring and firing. Well she fired a guy that was busted high at work and he started making threats and telling friends/employees that "she had hers coming". I was on it like stank on chit just like described above only I didn't need a CHL as I was in my vehicle where it is legal to have my HG. He did come back to her job but in the middle of the day while I was at work (probably best for all involved). He says he was there to get some stuff he left but the law was called and he was arrested because he was on parole and they found out he failed the drug test. Now he's in jail for 5-10 from what we hear. Funny thing was, there was nothing in his locker. He didn't have a weapon on him but something tells me what he was there for.
Also! Don't forget to pray about it. Almost always helps!

This isn't rocket science. Managers can and do give tresspass warnings, yeah just for asking questions. The store is private property, ANYONE can be criminally tresspassed, for ANY reason. In HEBs right sense of mind the guy needs to be criminally tresspassed. He is a subject that could pose a security or threat to one of its employees, so CYA. Where are you getting she cant view the camera footage, for the LP and such??? Same way she can just get it if he were to pull in and she saw him. I think you have seen way to many James Bond movies. The police are not authorized to release the personal info off the plates if ran, but she is entitled to know the plates and know what the creeper looks like.

LOL But on a serious note thats scary bro. I'd love to give someone the benefit of the doubt, but what it sounds like is this guy is up to no good. If he had good intentions or just a friendly person he would have just walked up and introduced himself face to face with a handshake. JMO

HEB probably has a policy about employees bringing guns into the store so get her some pepper spray to carry when walking to/from the car into/out of the store. Get the one with dye in it if possible that way it can mark him for easy identification.

I feel like a little parking lot justice is in need here, but cant let feelings get in the way in a matter like this, it could actually be all the fuel this creep needs to go off. But if you did find out who he was I would surely have a talk with him and make it clear that it was my wife he was inquiring about and she is uncomfortable with his curiousity. If he still doesnt quit, then beat him down as politely as possible, since no one can give a clear answer on how to prevennt this from occurring again.

So you are saying that a manager cannot give a trespass warning?

Sounds like lots of good advice above. I'd be driving her to and from work for a while if I was you also. If I could I might even hang around a little, just to have a honestly friendly chat in case he showed up.

"Hey, my wife was told you were asking about her, and that makes her and me uncomfortable. Is there something I can help you with?"

That's definitely creepy. That kind of thing really ticks me off.

Similar thing happened to my wife Saturday. She was coming out of Pier 1 and she said a creepy-looking guy was holding the door open for people in front of my wife and for her. She left and drove to Target. She was milling around in the women's clothing section, and all of a sudden that same guy was standing right next to her staring. She said she gave him a "you better get the heck out of here before I rip your head off" look and he turned around and left. She watched her back the rest of the time she was in there and in the parking lot and driving to make sure nobody was following her.

Freakin' sicko scumbags need the ol' Berandel treatment.

No sure what NBK75 is talking about, but YES, any manager can give a trespass warning.

Sec. 30.05. CRIMINAL TRESPASS. (a) A person commits an offense if he enters or remains on or in property, including an aircraft or other vehicle, of another without effective consent or he enters or remains in a building of another without effective consent and he:
                        (1) had notice that the entry was forbidden; or
                        (2) received notice to depart but failed to do so.
                        (b) For purposes of this section:
                        (1) "Entry" means the intrusion of the entire body.
                        (2) "Notice" means:
                        (A) oral or written communication by the owner or someone with apparent authority to act for the owner;
With that said, as long as the trespass/refusal of service does not cross into the "Discrimination" zone.

Anyone disrupting business, and/or harassing customers is a sure fire way to get themselves "trespassed".
