    Is this a good deal?

    Its a 2008 Dodge Diesel. Is this a good year for these trucks?

    It's not oo bad. You can get the same one but a new '09 for about $33K out the door but this one seems to be a decent deal. Are you trading a truck in? Then it will depend on what they will give you for your trade-in.

      I'd be looking for a 2007 w/ the 5.9l though....

          x2 on the 5.9l. As far as parts, that cummins will still run after the truck body around it has rusted away. The only parts you are going to need on that truck are front end and steering components and there are plenty of aftermarket parts that are soo much better than the OEM parts anyway.

          IMO the dodge trucks are great trucks.

            Just remember....the higher diesel prices go up the cheaper these truck will go. I bought my 2006 F-250 Powerstroke 4x4 with 14,000 miles when diesel prices were almost $5/gal. I paid $24,000 drove it for two years putting 60,000 miles on it and sold it recently for $22,500
