Yes sir. I just swapped out the Cabela's archery catalog for the Cabela's fishing catalog in the "reading material basket" next to The Throne. I spend a few moments every morning looking at new equipment and looking forward to the singing drag.

I went to the harbor at Port Lavaca last Saturday. It was 20 degrees at 08:00 with some ice on the banks. Not a bad day; a few trout and reds. Had two reds in the 29-30" range (released). Had an issue with a pot licker but that seems to happen more and more these days on the bay.

It's honey do, fishing and maybe some hog hunting time.

I haven't stopped fishing or hunting. I'm still mad at the hogs and most of my big trout come november through may. Its all a never ending season for me!

I agree.......It is about time to start fishing.....can't wait to start flinging arrows at gar and carp.........It is never time to put up the hunting gear.....way too many other animals to hunt year round.......
