Not me, I am going to the Bar E.....I like getting the quackers in Dec/Jan cause ther pleumage (sp) is better. I use to guide quite a bit in the El Campo area and have killed so many.....I can let them go for awhile!

I'm skipping the opener because of the zoo it will be on public land, gonna wait til the middle of the week to go.

I'm on vacation the first week so I can help process deer at my family's store. Mostly will be deer hunting, but plan to get a couple of duck hunts in that week if I can find any birds.

We made our first trip to our newly acquired cabin in the Land Cut this weekend. Saw huge flocks of redheads and some pintail and speckbellies. I used to duck and goose hunt a lot when I lived in Lake Jackson. If anyone is familiar with hunting the Land Cut, Baffin area and would like to go sometiome let me know. Maybe we can set something up.
