very nice job! I like the last one with the oak limb, leaves and acorns. Wouldn't mind having one tooled like that in a bi-fold model!

I do some leather work, and metal engraving, and here's my take... try to fill up
some of the blank space around your floral stuff... for example, extend the border
around the edge by about 1/4 to 3/8" and use a tandy background tool... your
design will really pop out... or add some initials in a banner that wraps in or
around the design... even some basket weave or geometric stamp patterns would
          look cool...

Very nice though... good stitching around the snakeskin, that's tricky on such a
          narrow piece...

Too pretty for me. I like a standard black 3 sided unit. I think mine is made out of some kind of bird. It was made for me 10 years back and I have had to have it repaired once. The repair job is ugly.
              Do you do re-repair work?

the customer didnt want initals , and i know i may be weird but if it is a good piece of leather i like to leave it slick and natural , but thats just my personal taste (or lack there of) , and yes more backgrounding and or matting will accent the work more. thank you

Thor my way of re-repairing it would be to take everything of value out of it , chunk it and start over !! lol
Darrell , hope to be there alot more this year we didnt do much shooting this last year
art , i just dont know , i never have but that doesnt mean anything , if you have a good pic of what you want i can try
