    help PDF trouble

I have a kid who is trying to fill out a pdf form on a computer her at the computer lab and each time he fills out a field and then clicks to go onto the next field, what he wrote in the previous field disappears but it shows up again when he click back on the field, what he wrote shows up again. What can he do to fix this?

May not be a writeable PDF?

if it's still there when you go back, sounds like a hidden feature...not sure why someone would use that in a pdf form but probably not much you can do with it short of re-cooking the pdf yourself...

I'm guessing it is because he typed in the boxes but it only shows up when he clicks on it and when it prints it only prints the box where his cursor is.

Is there an option to get around that?

it might be because the version of acrobat that was used to create the pdf is a version or versions newer than the one being used to view it with....

I do not personally know of all the options available within the pdf creation, but can't think of what one like this one would be for...so I have no known solution for you on that...

            update the reader
try a different browser if viewing in a browser
