    Web cams???

I am looking for info on how to talk to my fiancee through a web cam. I bought her one for christmas and we are trying to figure out how to use it. I have DSL here at my house but she is wireless in College Station. It appears yahoo messenger won't work as it looks like she has to have a phone line connected. Any ideas??? Thanks

You can try this one: http://www.paltalk.com/

I have not used it though.

There's a program called SKYPE that I know works very well. Used it with my GFs Logitech camera...so far it's worked great.

Should work with wireless without a phone line. Too many variables for me to troubleshoot from here. Maybe some one in CS can help set it up for her.

I recommend Skype as well. I got my parents and brother's family a web cam for Christmas two years ago, so my parents could see their grand kids in Colorado. Pretty easy to setup and use.

I recommend skype also. My son is in the Military stationed in Europe. My grandchildren are there as well. We can talk or vidio talk to each other. The best part is watching my grandaughter as she grows up. They even carry the laptop around and show me their house. It is all in real time. Free also. Really Cool.

OK. I'll try that. Thought I looked at Skype but maybe not. We'll see.
