    TC trigger job help

My computer will not allow me to download the free instructions from bellum. Does anyone have an idea where I can get instructions on doing a trigger job on my TC pro hunter?

    call Mike and introduce yourself

ask him if he can fax them to you , or snail mail them

one of my very good friends did most all the load development and pressure testing for the Bellm line of TC cartridges

I did call. The lady said I should just buy the instructions.

Did you try downloading with your antivirus disabled? That could be preventing it from running.

How familiar are you with the Encore trigger system and do you have the correct tools and stones to do it?

Personally I would pay someone to do it it you don't have either of the above.

So I finally got around to changing that trigger out Guess I was waiting on the right stones. The trigger is extremely light. as in, I am pretty sure ESP will set it off. Anyone else had this problem?

What # spring did you put in? Number 1-3 spring need to be done by a gunsmith because you have to adjust the angle of the sear

He used to be on their pro staff shooting team and was the regional sale rep for many years. Also shot on the Marine pistol team while he was in the service. Retired now. But dose some work from his home on occasion. And patronizes some of the local gun shows helping different dealers out. Still mule deer hunts every year with one. And loves popping prairie dogs

Reviving old thread. Anyone know anyone in Austin area that can do a good trigger job on Thompson Encore?

Call the support line on the Bellm site, ASK for Kurt-if Kurt isn't there he'll call you back fairly quick. Kurt is awesome, I've done a bunch of work to my Thompson and he has always been right. He'll square you away with all that you need-no more, no less.
The trigger is EASY to do-not worth paying someone else. It is a fairly quick job too.
The thing about Thompson is all the guns are a little different -the spring I thought I wanted was too soft-Kurt had sent me a package of three. So glad he did. Thompson triggers are awesome once you get the spring changed out-you won't regret it.
From the sounds of what you're saying -you might need to "bump up" to the next size. If you were in the Austin area, I would have been happy to help you with it-maybe someone near by can print the instructions for you??.

                        Just realized -old thread

Davis-order the springs from the Bellm site, I'll help you with it if you want. It'll save you a few bucks.

                          How sensitive is that trigger?
