    Best riflescope for $1000

The scope will go on a custom built 270. I haven't been in the rifle scene for awhile so I am looking for opinions.

    Thanks

Hard to be Leopolds, however I have really taken a liken to Trijicon's Accupoint scopes.

Well depends on what type of custom rifle you have if it is jsut a custom hunter style somthing you are not trying to shoot 750 yards with then a leopold is nice especialy it your metal on the gun is all high glass bue but if you are going custom tactical i would sugest a Night Force

I have nothing but good to say about my Ziess....I have the 3x9x50.....However, I wish I would have bought the 4.5x14. Clear and GREAT in low light conditions which makes it worth the money. How many times has the "Big One" stepped out right a dark and you don't have enought light to get a clean shot with other scopes? This one gives you a good 15 minutes extra.

                    Good Luck,

                    LW

A lot can be had for 1000.
                      Zeiss, Meopta, Loopy's.

The Meopta Meostar 4x16 with Mil-dot will be plenty for 800 +tax

It is a hunter style gun. Also wondering about the reticle options - B&C and those that are marked 200, 300, 400 and so on.
