    Expected road conditions Ft. Worth

Well, Kaitlynn finally decided that she would like to go shoot in the TSRA indoor State Smallbore and Air Rifle Championships and Jr. Olympics Qualifyer this weekend being conducted on the TCU Campus. With that said, I know that it is expected to be in the teens and low double digits as far as temps go, but is there going to be any moisture with the cold or is it going to remain dry which would make travel much, much better.

I just drove to work from North Ft. Worth all the way to Irving and the roads are fine. A few icy patches on the bridges, but no need to worry... IMHO

It's goes from snotty to spotty to clear sailing. I'll be making my normal travel routine today. If it's to buggered up I'll report back.

I don't think there's any more moisture expected, and what little we got should get beat up today with sunlight and traffic.

What timeframe are you talkin here?

                      Thanks,
She is going to need a lot of cheerleading. I really don't expect much in the smallbore since she will only have a couple of practice sessions under her belt with the new rifle, but with the air rifle if she does what she is supposed and capable of she has a chance to qualify. She just needs to stay focused. Regardless it will be great experience for her.

Yeah I think you should be fine. I drove from Arlington to NW Ft Worth this morning from work, then to Cabelas and back home to Arlington and didn't have any trouble. The few bad patches seemed to have cleared up by 11. I don't think there is any moisture in the forecast.

I just got back from bouncing around all over Dallas. You should have no problems at all.
