Hey Shane,when you go and get her permit.
Make sure you have proof that she's still in school.
I think it's called a V.O.E. form (verification of Education)
You can get it from the school counselor.

Thats it....and also, birth certificate, SS card. You will also need to have photocopies of them. You will get the originals back and they will keep the copies. Homeland Security put that in place about 2 years ago!

I used a different course than the one you bought. I was happy with the course, but since I have no other point of reference, I can't really say whether it is really any better than any other course. I imagine they're all pretty much the same.
