Just wondering if it is really worth picking up a box for my kid to use the 270 this weekend. That thing has a pretty stout bark and I know with the adrenaline of the moment she'll be ok but I'd still feel better if I had something I knew was not going to tatoo her shoulder.

Trouble is finding it. The last time I bought ammo, Buds Gun Shop had it on line. I bought 5 boxes.

Pepperfool I have a box of 270 in the safe that is probably missing a few rounds. I am in Austin area but you are welcome to it if you replace it later. Let me know tonight because I leave for work at 330 am in the morning. If you want me to ship it I could also do that tomorrow but have no idea on shipping cost. If you are hunting this way Ill meet you with it.

Thanks guys. I'd need 270 but I don't want to put anybody to any trouble. Honestly, she can shoot my muzzle loader at 100 grains and it does not kick much. She shot it the other day just fine.
My motivation here was that since I found out she can use any legal means during the youth only season, we could hunt at the same time. Me with the muzzy and her with the 270.
Not a big deal though. Thanks for all the offers.
Skeeter, I'm right around the corner from you. Coles Crossing at near Telge and Spring Cypress.Last edited by TexaRican; 01-06-2010, 06:22 PM.
