    Help with Spotlight selection..............

I was hoping that some of you guys from East Texas could chime in on this and tell me if this was a good one to choose. It has different lamp covers for different lighting situations. Also, there is a red lense to keep from spooking game. (I hope for hogs and rabbits)

So what do you want to use it for? IMHO if you are going to do deer headlight surveys 2 million is way too much...They will try to duck the light even with a red lens. Plus you get back flash glare off of close limbs and brush...200,000 candlepower and a red lens is just about perfect for that...

1 million would be fine if you keep it charged up. I wouldnt go any lower than that though. You might check into getting a scope mounted one if you are really serious. If you will be hunting hogs at a feeder a good feature would also be a dimmer knob that you could adjust the brightness with.

Spotlighting hogs at night from a vehicle or stand is what we wanted it for.

Check out HawgLight Sniper "Destroyer". I have a Surefire G2 flashlight mounted on my gun that people swear is brighter/ more efficient than a spotlight.

You need to get input from the resident expert on spot lighting...JASPRO.

Way to much light as mentioned above. I would keep it to 200,000 or 300,000 at the most.

I've had several of the ones like you pictured. They work well, but they don't hold a charge very long and they tend to go out, break, whatever you wanna call it.

But what do I know? I'm not from East Texas!!!

Coleman Rechargeable spotlight, 3-Cree LED , 49.00 Academy. shines full on for 2.5 hours on a charge ,very white light .I use it for blood tracking and general observation at night. Comes with 12vDC lighter plug and 110V recarge transformer. The one shown above will not last long at full on. I have one of those and 25 minutes was the best it could do on a full charge, then went dim.

Night Force has the best spot lights on the PLANET, I have a couple extra's if interested. I had to order ten to get them discounted. PM me if interested.
Their super lightweight and the brightest light I've ever seen. We used them for varmint hunting contests, won several thousand dollars with them. Go to their web site and check em out and not to mention they have blue, red, green, purple, black, amber lense covers.
