Stuck an axis doe last night and while I went in to change clothes, I came out to see our new Marley licking the blood off the ground leaking from the tailgate. Of course, while she is licking, it's still dripping. She took to a dead deer pretty good.

I've never seen my dogs go after anything like they do fresh deer blood. Got some on the garage floor and they got into it, then howled at the door for hours after I kicked them out.
