Get out of there. I spent my first 35 years in Texas, then 4 in Chicago. Back in Texas now for 7 years. I couldn't wait to get away from that stuff. What got me was winter lasts from Thanksgiving until April, and you rarely see the sun. Get's depressing after a while.
