I have a Coleman powermat 6500/5000 generater that the engine runs fine and was generating fine until this past weekend. What I'm asking is where can I get it worked on close to clenurne/ft worth area? If anybody has an idea what could cause the problem that would help too. It will work for maybe 1 minute then quit. It cycles constantly. It started out working for an hour and quit for a couple of minutes then generate again for an hour or longer. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Could be low on oil. -

Posssibly has some thermal contacts that are protecting the generator from over heating. Maybe some bad brushes. As far as where to take it I cant help you with that.Comment

I've had pretty good luck finding service centers by calling my local Home Depot.
Anything that's out of warranty, they will usually have a shop to refer you to...
Tool rental centers are another place to try -- sometimes the mechanic that works there can fix just about anything.Comment
