What whisker biscuit to use with regular carbon arrows?

What whisker biscuit to use with regular carbon arrows?

When I say regular, remember that I am still an archery newby.

I believe they state a small for what would probably be considered plain/regular carbon arrows and medium for the internally reinforced?

I am asking because I found some mediums at half off, $20 for the whole setup, which I can now justify...$40 for still learning when I already had a drop away, I could not justify.

Any reason why I could use a medium correctly with Easton cArbon storms or carbon raiders?

i would think your fine, the wisker biscuit just does not need to be tight against the arrow all around, just resting on bottom of shaft, does that make sence

I have been using a medium WB for the last two years with no problems with C/E Maxima 250's. I don't see the benefit to having a smaller one as the arrow will simply use the lowest part of the hole as the shelf for the arrow.

How does a WB work for finger shooters?

I have only taken 4 shots on a deer with my WB and on a couple of other animals. I can't hear anything (maybe that is from getting old) and haven't had anything jump the string.

It depends on the arrow. Shafts with a slick finish - like the Beman ICS Hunter's I use are quiet. A shaft with a rougher finish will "hiss" a bit when drawn.

I use the largest one I can find. Less noise.
