Just to be fair I am DVR ing tonights episode at 9pm on sportsman channel to give it a 3rd chance. Cant do much more than that. The Pigman is welcome to come to West Texas as my guest to prove me wrong if I'm getting the wrong impession of him and the show. I can get him on some bobcats or mountain lions if he's up to it.
you can put me on some mountain lions if you want and we can pretend that its going on tv
Anytime brother. I see cats regularly at a spot on public hunting grounds on the way to our fishing hole. always the same area. We 've baited the area with some fresh road kill deer carcasses and they we re totally stripped of flesh and a couple of the quarters within a couple hours while we went out varmint calling. Always in the late evening just about 45mins before sunset. Twin Buttes Reservoir is the place 5 mins from my house in San Angelo.
BTW, YES we can film. I have a Canon HV30 rig I'm building right now for filming hunts and can really use some camera time to get used to new set up.
I somewhat know where you are talking about, Im from clyde just east of abilene and my grandparents live in ballinger so I somewhat know the angelo area.
Understood.....now about those cats you were speaking of....and if you want pigs we have plenty on FT Hood......it's the cheapest year round hunting in Texas.....and it's really not too bad.
It just isnt a show for ME and that was the whole point. Yes I did see "Keith" tackle him, and YES I did see him sittin around watching as everyone else was hard working. If this isnt the image they wish to portray of their host then they shouldnt put it in the show. Yes it is ENTERTAINMENT as such is TV but I was hoping for informative inforation as well. It is what it is, it's just not for me. As stated I give him respect for having his own show. Best of luck to him.
I'm up for filming anybody who wants to come out and give it a shot. I can use the lens time for sure. The cats are usually seen in Unit 1 at TBR towards the end of **** where the cross over heading towards the river. The entrance is the hard part to find. It looks alot like a private gate cause there are no signs at all. If ya ll wanna come out sometime just gimmee a PM and I can let ya know if I'm available that weekend. Theres tons of free camping there too. I only work 10 days a month so I'm sure we can find time. I watched a recent episode of Arrrow Affliction where the guy was hunting cotton tails and jacks with a bow that I'd love to film too. We have tons of them ar TBR on 15000 acres!
Yeah, Chris Brackett. It's a cool show....I always love the viewer challenges....and the music is pretty good as well. he has the money for all those arrows he goes through though, I'm in the Army, can't afford to lose many

ya he went thru a few trying to duplicate that old ricochet shot off the grounf and hitting the ballon on the target trick. he stuck a bunch in the side of that cabin
So we've had strong opinions expressed for threads that keep gettting bumped to the top by people that rarely post..
Where's the opinions about when the threads get bumped by posts that have nothing to do with the thread?
Just sayin....
I saw the same episode and it was my 2nd chance at watching him. IMHO he is cocky and I wouildnt even want to share a huntin camp with the guy after what he said on that Mexico episode......This was what he told the outfitter in Mexico on the phone after getting skunked twice on hunts in the midwest.....Quote "you know what everyone has in common?" (outfitter) " No?" (pigman) "Everyone loves the Pigman" I almost threw up when he said it. He then procedes to watch everyone work all the next day as the set up stands he sits around doing nothing but running his mouth. I have no time for people like him. I'll give him props for having his own TV show, someone obviously likes his show but i can do without it for sure. I watched it those 2 times hoping I'd actually pic up some hog hunting tips since we dont really have any around my area.
Iv'e been in camp with these guys and they ALL do their fair share of work. Brian is a good guy (Pigman or not)Keith is a stand up guy also...By the way Keith is the outfitter in Mexico he was talking to. Great show...
I watched the show and just didn't care for it. What was the deal with the deer half-eaten by the coyotes? I have never heard of that happening unless you couldn't find the deer and left it overnight. Never heard of coyotes eating it within thirty minutes of being shot. I do hope the show does well though.
Might be true, but you don't crucify all of them, especially when there's no evidence of that happening in this case..
The thread is getting bumped to the top by members posting, or by KR responding to posts being made to it...you know.. like every thread on here?
I like the show, KR has been very cool on this site, and responds to questions/comments personnally.. can't say that about many other show hosts.
Give them chance before lightin' the torches and breaking out the pitch forks.
