I like the show, KR has been very cool on this site, and responds to questions/comments personnally.. can't say that about many other show hosts.
Give them chance before lightin' the torches and breaking out the pitch forks.

Agreed. I enjoy the show and I think the Pigman is as crazy as a sprayed roach. I was just saying that some come on here to promote and then they are gone. I like the fact that KR has been back several times. Like he said there is a ton of good stuff on here other that Pigman the series.

Can't stand listening to him talk. The show is watchable, but it is hard as heck to listen too. He sounds like a moron when he opens his mouth.

That is exactly how this thread started. Ole Pigman himself came on here defending his show and making buddies, but hasn't been back since. I will say the show is better than alot of the others and KR has stuck around.

So the guy joined a website he wasn't a member of, to answer questions, thank members that mentioned their support, and take criticism for - and then doesn't post again (on a site he wasn't a member of before), but his partner apparently does keep up with the site - regardless of what threads he posts in.. and thats a reason to basically chastise him?

I just re-read the forum rules and can't find a reference to the rule that you have to participate in threads that don't reference you, your business, or your passions.
Guess I just don't see the logic in getting members-only attitudes, and running off people because they don't post as much as you'd like them to or where you'd like them to.

And the bit about self-promotion.. so what? If the Admin's had a problem with it, they are quite capable of ending it.
The best part of a forum is that you don't have to read threads you don't like.. just don't click on them.

I've read plenty of KEEPS posts and usually enjoy them, and i understand he's been here a while. This isn't personal against him, or his views.

This place is one of the more freindly and welcoming forums - as well as kept clean and family oriented I've ever been on. It's the reason I joined and sent money to help support it.
Please don't turn it into us vs. them or 2cool***XX by running off people because of some misguided sense of club-house-rules.

You said there was no evidence of them acting like somebody else we know just looking for votes. In my view what Pigman did and what describe as him being a nonmember coming on here and answering some questions taking aplause and critism and then not showing back up is exactly like what some other people have done chasing votes. I was just pointing it out, never did I chastise any of them for self promotion. I am not defending anybody just pointing out certain traits.

I find it funny that 4; yes 4 people have all joined just to put in on this thread???? when it was originally posted skindog joined to input and hasnt said anything since then stevhpk did the same. Then bones1 joins just to re-erect it and now buck boss joined just to input on it. Every single one of them joined on the day that they posted on this thread and havent posted on any other thread??? And alot of them just keep asking what time does the show come on and what channel like its his people or maybe even him just wanting to find out who is following his show and trying to create a buzz! I know that I shouldnt care but its pathetic and I felt like saying something. I completely agree with KEEP though, congrats on the success of the pigman and his show and he is definitely lucky that he makes a living off of hunting and its a business and you have to promote a business but not like this... oh well Im sure all these supporters are gonna rip me a new one now but I could care less, I hope he has tons of success and finds better ways to promote his show

Keith, you'll learn on here quick that there is people that are gonna always dog your posts on here. But most on here are awesome people. Every place has its bad apples. Some folks just dont like other people's success.

What the heck are you talking about?? This hasn't been brought up for months! What do you mean promotional gang? Is there a problem with someone that knows us to give us a little support on this site while others are being critical? We've never asked anyone to log on here to promote us, never have and never will. Thanks for watching and keep me informed through the PM on how you think all is going as I check in here EVERYDAY since joining and I'm absolutely hooked on this site and that has nothing to do with the show. KR does a great job and logs on a bunch and I have no issue or ever had an issue with what he does. He's a participating member of the site, anything he says is welcome.

It's not about the members posting it's about the one time log in. Here's the scenerio that I have issues with
1) register as a new member
2) find the campfire
3) locate the search button
4) pull up a thread that has been buried for weeks, probably 10+ pages back
5) make a post " hey good show"
6) find the log out button
7) forget where tbh is or that there is anything else on the site beside the search you made

Self promotion is great, we all do it and it's awsome to read about others and their adventures. BUT it is that "self"-promotion, not others promoting with a single post. For the record I don't see KR as this as he participates else where.

Everyone needs to know I have no problem with pigman or the show and wish him all the success in the world as the hunting industry is a tough industry to "make it" in and it takes a big set of stones to try. It's the posts that drag this thing from the deep that drive me nuts. When it's drug up by a new member that would have no idea the thread was ever there but pulls it back up to make an arbitrary post.
