Then you will need to stick to 55grains or less in your bullet choices. For deer look at the Cor-Bon DPX rounds with the 53 grain Barnes TSX.

I am going to put together a fast twist (1:7 or 1:8) Encore 22-250 barrel so I can use the 70 grain TSX rounds.

Actually, after looking at the Remington website, it says to be 1:14.

I have not had a bad remington built on a 700 action yet.

        These are my special ones.

I use 62gr Berger and Speer bullets in my Savage Varmiter 22-250.
Here is a good little bullet guide from Berger bullets.

I Heard that. I think they are the best you can buy for the money. They can shoot better than most people are capable of shooting. Good choice

55 grains max for good accuracy then.

I purchased a 22-250 Model700 for my wife a few years ago and it has been a great rifle. I have harvested quite a few animals with it myself.

Favorite (most reliable) round I have tried are Hornady V-Max 55gr. They are super fast with great ballistics.

                    Congrats on a great gun.

Nice ride butcher, can't believe you went full blown rifle hunter on me brother. hehe. Can't wait to shoot it. I'd try the Hornady SST customs and see how she shoots. Sweet looking rig bud!
