I am thinking about a new bow and going through everything it will need. so what are your thought about different peep sites. I was looking at some of the bodoodles the you can change out. Do any of you use verifiers or clarifiers for hunting?

Specialty Archery makes various peep apertures that you can change hole size and lens power in, including the Verifyer peep that is beneficial to "old" eyes. They now have a 1/4 inch hooded peep that accepts a 1/4 inch verifyer lens which is gonna be great for those of us that use a large(1/4 inch) peep, and center the housing instead if the individual pin.
BoDoodle rests are now owned by Specialty archery. -
those were the ones I was looking at. I am not that old, but the verifier looked as if it would help anyway.Comment

I'm guessing it has a lens in it like my clarifier I used to shoot for 3D? If so my only concern would be moisture and fogging up.Comment

is moistue an issue w/ these. that would make it tough for hunting.Comment

If I shot in the rain, drizzle my clarifier was far more a problem than a cure. It would stay fogged up. No experience with a varifierComment

I just put the varifer on my bow.I have shot a few field pionts at a target and it worked great. I have not hunted with it yet. The only problem I have found is the rotation is a little off and I have to make sure it is lined up before I draw the bow.Comment
