    ATV Hauling With Camper.

My Dodge Ram used to haul my 550 Grizzly with the tailgate up, so I could pull my travel trailer. Just put a new winch on it and now can't close the tailgate. Any ideas? Other than a new rack that will haul two on top of the bed. That is my last resort. (My cheapness coming out.)

Just don't plan on backing up!

Just a thought, but it may not work. Ever thought of removing the tailgate?

Didn't think of that. That may be the best.

Are you kidding? I love it when simplicity sneakes up and bites us in the azz.
That hauler you have in the first picture I don't think is that expensive. David at David's outdoors sells them. Heck he may even sell his used one since he got a toy hauler camper.

can you back in the 4 wheeler? or would the back rack be worse than the winch?

How do you load the bikes on that rack? Other than very carefully?

look into a multi mount for the winch?

                          removable winch is the easiest

and you can use it in the back if you have a receiver back there....

Not the cheapest way, but pretty dang cool.

You can also let the air out of your rear tires.

Use auto ramps in the front of you truck bed.

Use rachet straps to close tailgate as much as possible.

I put mine in my truck bed last year then took off the tail gate so I could haul my camper home at the same time and save a trip. I had to put my tail gate in my camper though. Just make sure you have plenty of ratchet straps though for peace of mind.
