Scope Comparison - Nikon Buckmaster vs Leupold Rifleman

Does anybody have any experience with both these scopes? I've got a new rifle (.280) I'm needing a scope for, and these 2 are in my price range and in stock locally.

Contact Mike/Arrowsmith and look at the Vortex. IMO much better and Mike will make you a good deal. You will have it in just a few days or I bet he would over night it.

I have a Nikon Buckmaster 3-9x40 on my .30-06 and a Leupold Rifleman 4-12x40 on my .223. I have been happy with them. I don't do a lot of shooting and they fit my needs.

I've had both and see little difference if I had to give the nod to one the nikon.

I have owned both, but I prefer the Nikon.
