any telecom/phone system techs out there?

needing to pick brain of someone who knows a Toshiba Strata DK280 box...

had a power supply blow in a 4th cabinet that we no longer need, need to move the PIOUSIA card to cabinet three that has open slots, but need to tell the system that I moved the card...found program 03 in the DKAdmin but since you can't talk to the main unit...I am stumped...

prolly some jumpers somewhere on the mother card or something...

I do 3COM NBX stuff, may not be much help but...

I'm guessing these card slot are in a serial buss? If so, there may be a jumper terminating the the slot ahead of the one you moved the card to(disabling it).

Hope you eyes are better than mine, I haven't been able to read a main board screenprinting without a telescope for a few years.

              A legacy toshiba to boot

After reading it being a blown power supply you might want to replace the power supply, than you wouldn't have to move the card. You could probably buy one off ebay pretty cheap.

Or just finish off completely and claim insurance

place I work doesn't think logically...we can get a whole new dsx system for $6k-ish installed instead of jacking around with this old beast....but we won't do it....since I gen generally MacGyve-it to a functioning state, they see no reason to replace it...heck, about 2 years ago we had a problem with a power supply issue which took out the voicemail too, some old teleco on a dx2-66....we went 2 weeks without voicemail because they did not want to spend $2.5k on an ivp8.....we ended up getting the ivp8 anyway....
