    Replacing the Glow Plug Relay?

Thanks to the great advice offered to me here on Texasbowhunter, I've ordered a new glow plug relay for my 93 F250. Does anyone have any links, websites, advice, or pictures that would help me install it? I can't find anything in my Chilton or Haynes manuals about the glow plug relay. I've heard it's a fairly easy job.

    Thanks!

Just disconnect the batteries, match it up to the old one, remove one terminal from the old relay and move the connectors to the identical post on the new relay and repeat until they are all moved over. bolt the new one in place of the old one and you are done.

If you can wait a few days, I can come and help you. I live in Allen so its no big deal to run down to Big D.

They are the easiest part to change. I used all the existing wiring and did not install the new boot that came with mine.

Do like the guys are stating above, disconnect the batteries first and then go for it.
Pretty simple, just change the correct one. One relay is for the glow plugs and the other is for the intake heater.

Yep, thats how i did mine last week. Didn't fix the problem though. Looks like glow plugs are the culprit.

Gonehuntin, what year model is that pic from? Doesn't look like my 96.

Thanks for the offer, but I don't have the part yet and I'm not quite sure what our Christmas plans are. I think I can figure it out.
