I shot a doe yesterday with my bow and once again my little helper was right there to do her part. I put a good double lung shot on this doe and took my little girl to the spot where she was standing. She asked me which way she ran and I pointed in the direction and said start looking for blood and tracks! My daughter took off and found blood right away and started following it through the tall grass and rocks. About 70 yards later she found the deer piled up under an old tree blind that she claimed a year ago as her tree house! Pretty cool. The last deer I shot she helped drag it out of the brush and held a leg while I gutted it. WE are on the right track!
