When the U.S. agrees to international treaties, such treaties supersede the U.S. Constitution. If it is submitted to the Senate for approval and there is a chance it will pass our news media in the U.S., IMO, will not report it until it is a done deal. If You are not a member of the NRA, which informs its members about what's going on and, in so doing, politically mobilizes them to act when these threats come up, You had better hope your neighbor is or your rights are going to go down the drain.
