Uhhh guys...THE LANDOWNER is the one that talked to him about it. He wouldn't have done it if he didn't agree with them + the fact that they are paying the land owner and the OP isn't.

Rule # 1, 2, and 3. If you want to keep your lease and/or have access to it whether you think it's "fair" or not, do exactly what the landowner wants.

Yes I did, I saw a spike. I got to thinking I'm just going to let it go. The guy that lets me cross has been real nice and I don't want to lose that privilege.

Yes, there is another way in but when the river is out or I have to fill the feeder or I'm running late this the way I go.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I didn't get close to any stand I think I just spooked them a little.
