Been on a couple of those rides and the worst part is trying to relieve your self while still holding your pack lol But the hum of the plain will put you to sleep like a baby.

the last time I was on a flight like that I was on a stretcher locked into a rack with an IV in each arm - the plane was a C-141 - and they were moving me from the naval hospital on Guam to Brooke Army General at Ft.Sam - 38 years ago this month

I was watching the Military Channel the other day. They had a show called Medal of Honor. The show told a story of a "Cargo Pilot" receiving a Medal of Honor for saving the lives of 3 remaining "grunts" from an special forces camp in Vietnam that had been over run. I think two other Cargo planes were a total loss in the operation.
