Stressing in Chicago

had to suffer through some nervous moments listening to my wife on the phone with my son hiding in a closet in the middle of our home in Keller from the tornado warning......this crap never happens when I am at home with them...God I hate traveling for my job

Do you know anyone close that can go check on them or set it out with them? IF I lived closer I would help you out...Maybe you can call a family member?

I stayed on the phone with her until the watch passed, I had to plug in my cell phone to the charger ...I was not going to hang up until it was over....I calmed down my son by having him read to me over the phone

Well I start a new job as well Monday....I will be out of town Monday through thursday every week....It is not something that I look forward to, but I can make so much more money and provide them a much better life by doing this new job....Gonne be very very hard on me with a 2 year old and one on the way.

glad your family was ok. my plane took off after the first watches cleared!! So anything else that happened I was in the air for. that is kinda nerve racking!! good luck and travel safe

Yes traveliing for your job can sometimes be tough. It seems like that if something bad is going to happen around the house it always happens when I am out of town.
